another wheel question

I just bought a set of 17" rims from a 97 gt. will the lincoln/svo swap work or do I need 94/95 spindles. also, what size tire works best for these rims? I am looking at 225/45, but I am worried that is not enough sidewall, will 245/45's fit under the fenders?

The wheels should work with the Lincoln/SVO setup, but I can't say for sure whether or not you'll be able to run the center caps. A 245/45/17 tire should have no problem fitting under the fenders, but don't take my word that they won't rub since I haven't had a Fox Mustang in 8 years and honestly don't remember too well.
