I've got a co-worker that always talks about his old 65 ragtop he sold and how he'd like to find it and get it back. I finally just asked him yesterday if he still has the VIN anywhere from any old records (since he's a packrat) and he thinks he does.

I was thinking carfax but then I know it is most likely going to be really incomplete due to my own experience with my old 71 and my 86 svo... I was wondering if there's any other way to track the car that doesnt cost an arm and a leg to see where it might be at or if it's been squished or not??

I've always wondered what happened to two of my old cars as well. I'd be interested too....

/\ I was going to suggest the same site..

BTW stackz, you were right, the cowl has a nice "little" hole in it-haven't seen you around in a while, welcome back (not that I've been around much either)! Shes got a whole new quarter on the passenger side too, to repace the giant dent....And new floor pans, and some patches on the torque boxes...yup-quite the little project we have!
