Definitely getting a used meter or tossing one on from a local guy (for a test drive and testing) is the way to go.

The fox meters (non Cobra) work but are 55 mm. YOu just need to adapt the fox meter's flange to fit (you need to swap the entire meter. You cannot put the fox sensor in a 94-95 housing).

what are the specs. of the MA meter?

(b+) + gnd @ harness w/ koeo? mine .955

Sig + gnd @ harness w/ koeo? mine -1.836

pcm + gnd @ harness w/ koeo? mine -1.854

MAF sensor not connected

(A= b+) (B=PCM) (C=gnd) (D=sig)

A - C = 4.85m ohm's
B - C = .001 ohm's
D - C = 4.19k ohm's

probly no big deal just would like to know

You should have 12 volts feeding your MAF with the key on. The power is supplied by pins 12 and 24 of the CCRM (EEC relay output).

(b+) + gnd @ harness w/ koeo? mine .955

when i go sig to b+ i get 12.43v

I think I must have misunderstod you.

When you probe the power feed to the MAF (key on), and have the other DMM lead grounded (to anything), it should read 12 volts.

I had the impression this was not the case in your first quote above.

You probably have an EVTM but here's a diagram anyhow.
