Hello just wondering if anyone knows of any sport garages in or around the atlanta area. I am about to do a head, intake, TB swap and was wondering if there are any reliable shops that could install the heads since im a little scared of attempting that myself. Also does anyone know of any dyno tune places in or around GA, hell even in the south east? Thanks for your help.

Yes, you have Team Ford of Marietta, you have T and J performance in Alpharetta you have MV Performance in Statham and you have Higgings in Douglasville. That is all the best places to go in the Metro Atlanta Area!

Thanks a lot I will definitely look into all of these places. Do you have any personal experience with them? And if so which would you suggest for both installation and dyno tuning? Thanks for the help.

Our Mustang Club is affiliated with Team Ford, if you were to become a member you could receive Dyno's 3 pulls for only $50 bucks and labor per hour would only be $60 versus $75. You can check out our club at www.svtoa-atlanta.org and you do not have to be a SVT Owner to join! We are more of an Ford Enthuisiast club!

Also, a few guys have had their cars tuned by T and J Performance and love it. He has done a 600 rwhp car through stock heads! Their web board is at www.modularmustangs.net

MV Performance, is good, they are always busy and know what they are doing. I got my chip from them.

Higgins well, I have no first hand knowledge of their situation, but I have heard that he can be an ass some of the time!

My First pick would be Team Ford and Jeff Harris as the tech (Only one that will work on my car!)

Second would have to be T and J then MV Performance

Hope this helps, check out out website, it is only $15 to join so you save that with only 1 hour of labor!

Wow thanks for all of the info. What about nitrous? I know that is a touchy buisness but sometime in the next 6 months I plan on getting nitrous installed on my car. I want to make sure it is done correctly and properly tuned when i do. To your knowlegde do any of these places have any experience with the installation and tuning of nitrous? I expect this will be the hardest to find. Thanks for all of the help and I will definitely look into your club.

For dyno runs/tuning Team Ford in Marietta, Jeff Harris is the man. For everything else, Mustang Services in Canton, 770-591-0000, ask for Travis. As for nitrous, I know they refill bottles, so I'm sure they mess with nitrous, Scotty is a great mechanic.

Yes, Mustang Services is Okay, but I have not been there since they sold the place?

Jeff Harris is the best and he races and knows Nitrous also. T and J does Nitrous also.

I actually have my stuff coming and will be installing the nitrous soon! I only need the solenoids right not. Just got the nozzle in the mail today!

Mustang Services didn't sell, the original co-owner Sean, left. And Travis the other co-owner took over. The place is better than ever in my opinion, it's the only place I've taken my car.

Well yes, Sean kept a nice and dirty work environment. I have heard that they have cleaned up and are better than ever but I don't know!

    Why did Sean leave for?

Decided he preferred to be a bartender.. From what I've heard from the guys up there, it's for the best that he left. Supposedly he wasn't be very ethical, but Travis has totally changed that shop, they are a great shop now.

Oh okay going from co-owning a business to BARTENDER! That is sweet, That does not surprise me about being ethical. They did my springs and c/c and seemed a little shady then. Oh well, hope that they get better with time I guess.
