Ive got ceramic coated bassani headers. There is a small spot i need to dimple a bit to clear my K member. Anybody have any tips on how to go about this?

Ive heard heat it up with a torch and smack it with a ball peen hammer. But wont the torch kill the ceramic coating? Will the header tube dimple if i just smack the piss out of it with the ball peen hammer only and not use torch heat?

bottle or scissor jack against the bottom of a deck or steps lol, or find someone with an arbor press

+1 with the press, I would not heat it up. If you don't have access to a press and have to use a hammer, put a thin piece of rubber between the metal and the hammer, such as a bike inter tube to help soften the blow and keep the hammer from skidding off the round tube also you don't crush the metal on the first hit. Take your Time!!!!
