Anybody know how to replace cabin air filter on a 2005 Escape?

  1. Sorry, it don't got a 4.6 motor in it.

I got a Haynes manual for the car/truck/suv, but it don't say nothing about it.
  2. it's under the right side cowl cover. just remove the cover and you will see it.

BTW I am moving this to general auto tech.
  3. Mike is correct. I've changed the one on my 2004 Escape. Very easy procedure.
  4. Beat me to it. Granted I work with Scoobies now:D
  5. Finally got around to doin it. It was easy. For the record there was something in the Haynes Manual about it. They just didn't call it a "cabin air filter". Found info about it in the "Cowl Removal and Replacement" section. When I bought the filter, it had instructions too.
