Also some words on why these cars are running garbage trap speeds. I guess Ford has put some really shady programs into their new ECU. (It's been talked about here but no real facts had been discovwered.) The worst is that since the new TB is electronically controlled the program will start shutting the throttle body the closer you get to redline. As you approach the top of the cars RPM's the program was found to nearly close the TB .10-.30 seconds. So you really can't powershift these cars unless you short shift and from what was written through out the thread you would have to short shift REAL early. Fords take on this was that this was done to save trannies.
These guys got the car to run 13.4 bone stock with an M5. That’s not to far fetched with a host of 13.6’s we have seen with new owners and the guys (Chris Johnson and the rest of their team) can run a car like Evan Smith.
After this they added QA1 drag shocks and lowering springs to assist with wheel hop and 17” Mickey Thompson ET Streets and ran a 12.50 at 108mph!
