Pending the notion that I can get away with emissions testing by taking it to someone who will pass me with no cats... I was wondering if anybody has their exhaust setup with the regular collectors instead of ford's ball-joint style. I just read either MM&ff or 5.0 magazine and they noticed a Big power difference between the hooker full lengths (regular collector) and the BBK full lengths (ball style collector).
Anyway, a price estimate is what I'm after for a full-length header/H-pipe/catback exhaust for our year cars, if the hooker headers are used. I'm assuming a custom H-pipe needs to be made ( or not cross over at all).
I miss the full-length sound of my old 69 coupe, which had a 351C 4V and a lunati cam. Damn I miss that lope. Don't miss the gas mileage though, ha.
