I was wanting a set of black rims with a chrom lip for my '03 DSG stang but got tired of trying to mentally picture what they would look like. Was wondering if any of the members here has some pictures...

Thanks alot and HAPPY 4th!!! :flag:

OK, I've seen this term before, but I don't understand it - what is a DSG Mustang?

Whatever... Where have I been? Working or turning wrenches...but obviously not paying attention to your little acronyms. My bad. Enjoy your 'kick ass color'...

Not everyone knows internet lingo, Drexebo. It's all getting out of hand, too.

:rlaugh: I'm soooo sorry I wasn't more sensitive to your situation. I sincerely apologize. Hey... I've got an idea... Let's start a pissing contest! jerk.

Thanks for backing me there Greg. Being a network engineer by profession, my life is full of acronyms. And, as you said, they are getting out of hand.
With 2 GTs in the garage, a nearly 6 figure income, a home with a pool and a loving family, I don't need to get into any 'pissing contest' with Drexebo. I am quite sure of myself and who I am. I had just asked a simple question and got a smart-a$$ remark back. My only regret was responding to his remark in the first place. But that was yesterday, and today is today... :D I am done with this thread. Sorry I didn't know what DSG was...now I do.
One last thing...thanks to Spreadman who simply answered the question. :nice:

Dear stallion98gt... thanks for actually sticking to the thread topic unlike myself and Twogts4us. Since referring to Twogts4us in the third person over and over again is providing the insinuation that he won't read this thread again (he most likely will), I hope it really drives the idea home that he is an inferior acquaintance in my life. Since it seems we are all having the epiphanies of our lives, I want to thank you once again Stallion98gt for actually sticking to the topic and for not throwing a hissy fit; which directly translates into making the internet a better experience for myself and everyone else.

Drexbo, your last post is a paradox as it does not stick to the thread topic. And BTW, twogts4us has quite a few friends on this site, including me. And while he certainly does not me to defend him, everything could have been "in fun" up to the point of name calling.

Acronyms? Hey, I've got acronyms...probably thousands of them. You pick up a bunch after spending 8 years in the Navy and 6 in the Army and 10 as a chemical engineer. And, I would NEVER have guessed what DSG stood for. In fact the only reason I opened this thread is because I was thinking "I wonder was a DSG Mustang is?". In that manner, hey, you probably got more folks to look at this thread.

Now to the topic (if you are still reading), I have the deep dish black bullets on my black stang. Try going to www.wheelreplicas.com and click on customer rides. You may find what you need there. I just tried going there, but I could not pull up all the photos for some reason.

Hold up, that picture of the dark shadow grey car you posted looks EXACTLY LIKE MINE. But I've always called it, "Mineral Grey", or "Sandstone Grey"... Are they the same thing? Because my car is TEH SEXX0RZ!

2003-2004 was the year the Dark Shadow Grey color came out 01-02 was the Mineral Grey color

DSG is a little more darker/greyer... MG looks more brownish
