I just picked up the universal afco radiator and want to install it. since its 2nd hand, there were no directions, but the afco tech line said it is an easy install.
anyone install one and what is involved?
thanks

I have that same rad in my 88 Gt. That is a very good quality part. As for install it wasnt too bad. It is bigger than stock thickness but almost the same every where else. I moved the metal up front with a hammer but went a little overboard. Slight coaxing is all thats needed. One of the rad hoses is larger than stock size. I believe it is the upper hose. I took a heat gun and slowly heated the hose up until it fit. It is tight, but soapy water will help also. You will be happy with the results.

thanks for the help, sweet88.
i hope that this is an easy project... i hate complictated things.
on a good note, the radiator already has the hoses on it.
my electric fan would run all the time in the summer, so im hoping that this bad boy will do the trick to keep it nice and cool!
