I have a 302 bored to 306 keith black pistons, heads redone, lunati cam etc...How do I get my AOD to shift right?Trans came out of a lincoln.I know I need a good stall, but what else can I do to make it shift?
Many companies make performance valve bodies for the AOD. Lentech is pretty popular as is Art Carr. Also check out Click Click Racing the guy who runs that site builds perormance AODs and has alot of good info.
Make sure the TV cable is properly set as it will affect the shift point and how firm it will shift to a point.
Bauman shift kit is what I use and its easy to do. And silverfox over @ click click racing recomends the same for the do it yourselfers.
