hey guys, when i had my car dyno tuned, my tuner said with some 4.10s and some slicks i can get my car into the low 12s.....now, my car is a daily cruiser so i dont wanna get 4.10s...im happy with my 373s...now would low 12s be possible with 373s and some dr's or slicks? now if it is, how far can a 100 shot of zex take me, on top of that?

more Qs: im heading to the 1/8th mile drag strip this thur.....im a little worried about my stock axles breaking( they are stockers)im gonna replace them but obviously not before thur....im most likely gonna take my street tires (295/35/18s on deep dish bullets). will my axles be fine? also, if i gun it out of the hole im gonna spin 1st and 2nd without a doubt... whats the best way out of the hole with street tires? slipping 1st and proggresively getting into 2nd? what do you guys think

sorry for all the questions but, i didint wanna make like 4 threads for this...thanks guys:nice:

I would be really surprised if you could hit mid 12's...no way you are getting 11's...

Assuming 323 rwhp (noted in your sig) and about a 3400 lb race weight (car + driver), I calculated 12.40's @ 111 mph in the 1/4 mile for your 95 GT (assuming proper traction and driver skill). 1/8 mile should be about 8.00's @ 86+ mph.

Add 100 hp shot of nitrous, and you'd drop a full second (11.40's) and gain 10 mph (121 mph) in the 1/4 mile. Again, assuming proper traction and driver skill.

Is your 323 RWHP including the spray?

If not, where are you getting power from? The only real power adders you have are cams and heads??

320-330rwhp w/ h/c/i isnt exactly an unattainable number.

like stated in my sig......323/340 is on MOTOR only no spray

and its only ONE cam and a pair of heads:D
they are not my only power adders....i have all the bolt ons, i know i kept some out on the initial post, but i got all of em

im heading back to my tuner to get more power out of my combo....we went conservative on the initial motor tune, but happy with it since it did net me 323/340....but that number should increase

so, 323/340 is on motor, no spray....i understand the driver and traction are the most important things...i just wanna know what this car should be capable of....i know im not gonna run low 11s on my initial run, its gonna take practice. i just wanna know what this car should go (with 3400 w/driver or less).

bottom line.......just wanna know what this car SHOULD run....that way i have a goal.....its gonna take practice, but that will be the fun part:nice:

i appreciate all your guys input....i really appreciate it guys, keep it coming:nice:
