ARP Torque specs

For the head studs I would use 75 ft lbs for the Bottom and 85 ft lbs for the Top. I torque them in 4 steps: 25 ft lbs, 50 ft lbs then 75 ft lbs. Then I go back and do the tops to 85 ft lbs from inside to out.

Remember to use some sealant on the bottom head studs as they go into the water jacket.

Sequence as follows:

7 3 1 5 9 (85 ft lbs here)
8 4 2 6 10 (75 ft lbs here)

On the lower intake I wouldn't go over 21 ft lbs. I just snug these down a little first them go over the sequence around 5 times or so until all the bolts are clicking the torque wrench @ 21 ft lbs.

I use a thick bead of silicone for the front and rear seals instead of the gaskets.

Sequence as follows:

5 1 9 11 3 7
6 2 12 10 4 8

Good luck.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it. I used to have it written down somewhere when built the motor but cannot find it and cannot remember what they were.
One step closer to getting back on the road!
