I have long been searching for 94-95 export tail lights that have the amber turn signal. If anyone has a source for these I would be MOST appreciative! Thanks!
these are the horizontal ones right... i know the cars from japan come with those so ther'll be a few sets knocking about over here... I dont know if phil was looking to sell his ????
I thought those "export" lights come from the states anyways, I can understand this question arising in the "European" forum but i would think you could get your hands on them easier in the states than in Europe...
theyre pretty hard to get over here, they didnt sell any cars with them on in the states, they were all exported. Japan is your easiest bet but a lot of the cars from japan are over here now so there's a few sets about. The export lights were made in the staes, and fitted i guess and then the cars were exported. You probably cant get them from the parts department at ford in the states, which is a pain as it took me nearly 18 months to get my hands on a set of 96-98 export lamps which apparently ewre even rarer ! Good luck searching though....
very few of the 96 - 98 style lamps were made, because ford still had stocks of the 94 - 96 style lamps, and were fitting them well into 97 i have a set on mine, but i'm not changing them yet, sorry. best bet is to ask on one of the big UK forums like www.amvo.org/amvoforum these ones?
i really want to find a set of the tail lights with the amber signal. if anyone wants to sell any or knows anyone selling some let me know
i'm with ya'll on that. there was a company here that was selling them in like 2003. I like a dumbass didn't want to pay $300 for the set then and decided to wait. A year later I look them up and they don't sell them anymore. I call the company and he says as far as he knows he was the only one selling them and that he sold the last like 10 pairs he had to some guy. So he called the guy for me and asked how much he'd want for a set. The dude wanted $600. Best chance is overseas websites or just keep your eyes out on these local sites like a hawk. i've seen two people sell theirs in the past 5 months on for 300-350 (insert big site's name)... come on guys i'm not giving it all away, lol.
