Sorry about that! I missed that.
Opps, I also had PMs turned off.
The update to my site was
not pre-planned. The old POS web host for veryuseful lost all of the files (and the files of many others). That was the ?3rd? time the idiots/cheap_****holes had a major data lost. This time, true to their clueless nature, they also screwed up the older backups.
I got lax in the past few years, and I stopped keep a pure mirror of my web site on my PC. So, this time, I had to piece back together a lot of stuff. That's when I also decided to go to the newer look.
I found the 94/95 Stang files on my disk backups. I have some file names and web page editing to do. They should be up in an hour or so.
BTW: For my veryuseful site, I think I've gone through ?4? web host since the late 90s. All for various reasons. I have another web host for another web site, and that web host does things correctly. That web host has been rock steady since the mid 90's. But, they are also ~2-4x more than the low cost web hosts. And, have strict disk usage and web traffic usage limits. Many years ago, with the previous disk storage and data traffic rates, the veryuseful site would have been put into a
much higher cost web host package (for a mid-range/high-end web host). But, since I've had my other site with them for so long, and it that other site has very little data, and now gets very little traffic (last update was ~1996
), they gave me a deal with the storage for my veryuseful site.
Oh well, I better get back to doing the site update.
P.S. I now also keep a PC mirror image of the web site. Although, with
this web host for veryuseful, it really isn't required.
