Audio issue strange

Since I bought my car I have had this issue, just strange wondering if anyone else has experienced it.

Intermittently when I get in my car it is on AM radio like it reset but the wierd thing is, I hit the FM button and all my stations are still programmed just have to reconfigure the bass and treble. I am still running the factory 460 system.

Strange indeed.

I can't figure any electrical problem wiring into the radio that would cause that, so if I had to guess I'd say the radio itself was having internal issues.

I don't know jack about the inside of radios, but if I had this problem it would be a good time to upgrade to the aftermarket.
