autozone helped me!

Ive been having a bit of an issue with my #7 cyl plug boot burning, due to my P heads.

At autozone, i found they have Yellow, 8mm wires 90deg boots....in universal style, where you crimp the end yourself...Accell makes them.

I installed the wires, heat boots, and a blaster coil this weekend....and im lovin' it.

figured i'd throw the word out if anyone is interested.
Also, even if your not burning plugs it may be a good idea, because when you cut them yourself, you can make them fit correctly, and they look MUCH better.

i used to work at autozone and wasn't impressed with the accel stuff at all. MSD makes a universal kit that you cut and crimp yourself and its much better quality but i'm glad the accels are working for ya

Auto zone gave me the wrong belt.... TWICE


o and Ive been wondering, whats the difference between factory installed A/C and dealer installed A/C? cause the belts are alot different in size. unless the person that was helping me didnt know what teh hell she was talking about.

same here! i know it could very well have been the individual that was helping me, but at advance, none of their individuals have screwed up w/ me once, much less twice.

i got some MSD universal wires with the 90degree high temp boots that you cut and crimp to length. it even came with the crimping tool, working great so far
