B&M Hammer Shifter?

I know this is a old post but just wanted to let everyone know that when I got done reading this post I started looking to buy one of these shifters. To my suprise they are on sale on the B&M site. Here is the link.

I think 1 problem you will run into is the length of the transmission cable.
while the cable does work with the hammer shifter on 01 to 04 mustangs its literally 1mm too short. It annoyed me enough to make a custom extension piece.

You may have to jostle this shifter a littler bit to get the car to start. which could be a problem.

I had a machinist custom build me an extension bracket. it should cost about 20 bucks.
