Back to the 3 dollar a gallon gas!

    2006 R6 = $9,200

    $9,200 = 3066 Gallons... Wow

    So at roughly $3.00 per gallon you could fill up a 12 Gallon fuel tank over 250 times...

    1 (12 gallon tank) per week at worst = 4.8 years... That's a long time.


    But you could factor in cheap insurance for the bike.

    Worst case medical bills = $5,000+

    And cheap parking in most cases...


    It is a lot to consider, but I would still get a bike. :nice:

    1.02 and 1.05 out east eh? It's 1.12 here and only going to get higher. I won't be surprised to see 1.20...

    Of course, once the warm weather comes around and everyone is out driving prices go up. What a ****ing scheme.

    I just checked my MPG in my truck (in my sig) and I was driving highway and in town not easy but not too hard and got 14.46 MPG

    2.99 for Premium last night. I hate to scare people but if we are at 3.00 now in "April" i see gas rising close to 4.00 if not over taht by the time summer is in full swing.
