hey guys i am in the middle of my 5lug 4 wheel disc swap. the front only need the old spindles out and the new ones in and the rear i have the axle shafts out. my problem is the backing plates for the drum brakes will not budge i tryed puonfing on it with a hammer and nothing????? could htese be pressed on? i have all 4 bolts out in case you were wondering, i dont know, in the morn and at lunch ill spray them up with PB Blaster and try the hammer again i guess. or maybe heat is the answer. but if any body has had this problem let me know. also when i pulled the axle shafts the bearings were not pressed on to the axle shaft but in the axle tube is that normal, ever axle shaft i have seen had the bearing on the shaft.
