    First off, thanks for looking.

My problem is just as listed in the subject.

Every morning, my battery light is on. By the time i hit the highway (5 mins) the light and all accessory lights are flickering. a couple minutes later the light is off, and all accessories are fine.

    Where should I start? Thanks

Id have both the alt and battery checked. My alternator turned out bad and I was having the same issues. On cold start the battery light would be on and it would flicker and dime the lights until my car had ran for about 10 mins. I upgraded to a 130 amp alternator and issue was gone.

Does your avatar hint at the problem? Big system with factory alternator?

^this also. My car was drawing to much from the factory alternator. But if you're running a good system this could very well be doing it.

+1 the system sucking the life out of the alternator. I had to replace my first one at 75,000 miles. I stiffed up the system with a 1.0 farad capacitor and bought a new alternator.

My problem was the voltage regulator going out and it was an intermittent problem. Swapping the alt fixed it. Also, make sure your alternator to battery cable is tight on all ends. I've seen arcing and flickering due to a poor connection.
