I preordered mine and picked it up release day, I've been playing it quite a bit lately. I think I have 25 hours in it so far.

Are either of you on PS3, if so what's your psn? Mine's Rat_Fink_81, but I don't have a mic unfortunately.

BTW I wish you could call in air strikes like they show in that video :( In the game you can only call in 120mm mortar strikes.

Looks cool, but it's sure a crappy that scam they've got going where you can't buy/sell the game used without paying a big-ass fee. :notnice:

    This...

Entertaining Code Game Resales and Project $10

Given, $10 isn't necessarily a "big-ass" fee, but when you tack that onto the purchase price of a used game, itself, it adds up to where you may as well be buying it new ... which is pretty much their objective (to kill the used game market). :notnice:

Dave did you read the link you posted? They actually make some pretty valid points as to why they are doing it.

If you don't like their policies, show them by not buying the game.

I had a blast playing this one, their is some wicked funny dialogue during the game, especially if you just sit around and wait. Their is also some funny cheap shots at MW2 that had me lol'ing.:rlaugh:

I know. Just sucks that this appears to be the new trend at least some of the big companies are starting to follow. As if the whole Steam and SecuROM thing wasn't bad enough... :(

So, am I reading it correctly that they show that you can call in air strikes in the video, yet the actual game doesn't have that at all? WTF is that about?

    Yeah.

I think they showed it in the video for more dramatic effect.

In the game, if you play as Recon you can call in 120mm mortar strikes, which hit a small area but are pretty effective. You can destroy a tank with it.

You can also fly a UAV and call in a Hellfire missile strike with it as well.

Just no airstrikes. I think it would be cool if this game had airstrikes like the Mercenaries game on the PS2 did, but that would also be really annoying in multiplayer. The mortar strikes are annoying enough.
