BBK Longtubes?? What will they fit??

I have a set of 1 3/4 BBK longtubes for installing a 351W in a fox mustang. I am pretty sure that the literature says that they will only clear a manual bellhousing. I am wondering if anyone has some firsthand knowledge of what these headers will really clear? .C4, AOD??

I have 351W heads on my 306 and my 1 3/4" long tubes fit. They are real snug and real low to the ground but they fit. I also have a tremec 5 speed, and I know the bellhousing is larger than stock, but not sure how big it is in relation to a C4.
