I'm so going to do a intake plaque conversion.
I'm sure none of you have ever "exaggerated" something you're selling on Ebay to get more money
Not at all. I describe it exactly as it is, with lots of pictures. My feedback is my Gold, I dont want even 1 bad one tarnishing my Ebay rep.
Its 'tards like him that give ebay a bad name. He knows its not a LX cobra, if you read the last part that he added in, he doesnt know what the hell he's trying to say.
On Jan-13-07 at 06:43:54 PST, seller added the following information:
IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE SAYING THIS CAR IS NOT A COBRA I CALLED FORD AND GAVE THEM THE VIN NUMBER AB\ND THEY SAID IT WAS I SUGGEST YOU DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH AND BUY IT TO BE A MUSTANG LX WITH A BAD A$$ ENGINE AND SMOOTH TRANNY IT DOES SAY COBRA ON THE ENGINE AND HAS MORE POWER THAN ANY OTHER STANF BUILT IN 93 THAT I HAVE SEEN SO IF YOU ARE NOT SURE JUST BUY IT TO BE A NICE SOLID LX 5.0 HO BECAUSE THIS CAR IS SSWEET IN ALL AREAS IF IT IS A COBRA GOOD FOR YOU I STILL NEED ATRUCK FOR WIORK SO I MUST SELL IT .....MY NUMBERS ARE IN THE LISTING IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO COME AND SEE THE CAR OR ASK ANY QUESTIONS ...THANK YOU ...
Then you'd get ****ed off buyers and nothing ends well. What's the point of that?
Actually, the explorer intake is only drilled and tapped for two screws for the intake plaque from the factory
Well, my 90GT says GT/COBRA on the insurance, so I have a very rare 90 Cobra. No, it just means V8 engine.
Actually, it was a pretty straight car and went for a hair ver $4K. I would have bought it. Just a typcial salesman trying to sell it.
it's actually just the trim. it doesn't say cobra if you have an LX (at least the two lx's i've owned)
I just sent him a message as well as a link to this page
Someone should just link him this thread
ashtray door still works
Stupid guy, but seems not bad for the money.
Ok, I was reading this and would like to give a point of trivia. I own a 1992 Cobra Convertible. Yes the real McCoy, SVT certificate and all. Ford had 10 done while the right for the Cobra name were argued in court going into 1993. These were promotional cars done at the dealership that handled the promotion and with Ford/SVT's blessing. About the only thing mine does not have that the 1993's have is rear disc brakes. Cosmetics and powerplant is the same. Mine is all black with a black leather interior and black top. The original owner of my car worked in Ford Engineering and was one of the ones who was instamental in the beginnings of the SVT department. My car came from a dealership in Dearborn and now resides in GA.
Let's see some pics
it's just another plain jane LX
I remember reading about the '92 Cobra protos, and that only one was left un-smashed, but don't believe any were topless...
"HAS STAINLESS EXHAUST AND SOUNDS LIKE A DRAGSTER AND IS PRETTY MUCH AS FAST AS A DRAGSTER..."
I agree!!! What's wrong with you guys???
