you must be from around toronto lol J/K. Kokanee is a good beer, its just starting to move east in canada (brewed in BC) Labatt stuff is still decent around here  maybe its just cause the blue bombers are named after it. i never really drink it though. i always thought molson export was an indian beer (as in only dirty natives drink it)

Canadian Beer FTW. I love Rickard's Red!

My business partners are flying me up there for a month. I can't wait to be able to legally drink again!

Nothing wrong with the Abita Strawberry...I have Abita Amber in my fridge right now. Better that most beers I've had. Try the Purple Haze if you can find it.

If you want a good non-alcoholic beverage they have a good Root Beer. It's even made with cane sugar instead of fructose corn syrup so the calories are lower than typical soft drinks.

Yeah purple haze is good, but a couple bars around here have it on tap so I haven't bought a bottle in a while.

And as far as pale ales go, around here new river pale ale is the way to go. Sierra is good but coming from 3000 miles away it can be inconsistent.

Call me weird, but Foster's wasn't too bad, last I had it. Really wish I could get my hands on some XXXX from Down Under - far as I know, nobody around here imports it, but my ex (from Australia) highly recommended it.

I've been a Coors Light wuss for years, but Budweiser Select is some good stuff, as well. I still can't get myself to try to tackle a pint of Guiness again - it's too much like drinking burnt transmission fluid. :puke:

How the hell do they drink that stuff by the gallon over there in Britain, anyway? ... and WARM, at that?!?

Guinness isn't my cup of tea either, doesn't really have much taste (Irish car bombs are really good though). I've had much better stouts, pretty much every other stout I've tried has been better than guinness actually, just gotta find one from a smaller brewery that puts some effort into it. Young's double chocolate stout is pretty delicious, good dessert beer. Try samuel smith oatmeal stout too. I had some saranac caramel porter not too long ago as well, mmmm mmmmm.

Of course if you're a coors light guy, that was probably all wasted.
