so i took a couple pics of the car, and it really made me think about how far its come since ive owned it. how far ive had it apart and somehow managed to get it back together and running. when i got her in august of 06: and feb 08: yours?
My car wasn't completely trashed like some who come here who've turned around a nearly junkyard car into a show car, but it's made some process. Before: When I first bought this car, you could barely open and shut the drivers side door, no trunk supports, horrible wheels and tires, the interior was disgusting (Slob owned it before me), electrical problems, needed new brakes, brake lines, exterior molding was coming off, exhaust system (flowmasters) including o/r was dented and falling appart, ect. After: I've fixed all the problems prior owner caused, including a few of my own. Completely re-doing the interior this spring, now that I got a better camera, I'll document the process.
before: after: And after that....... The last pic was two years ago, i have to get new pics of the car now with the cowl hood, new fenders, and cobra brakes.
Wow...this might sound stupid but i hadn't realized until now that THAT was your car. I distinctly remember it now and especially that red stripe...i think back when i had the 10 hole obsession i tried talking you into keeping yours stockish looking. It sure has come a long way (post whore..lol). Sadly i don't have any "after" pics...just about 600 never ending progress pics.
Haha yeah that was it in all its stock glory. The beauty was it ran 12s as it sat there (probably could have gone 12.8s with the better exhaust etc...) but I just needed a different look. I am actually trying to contact a dealer about that stripe package, see if I can't get any information.
nah im talking about the grand in paint, and all the money ive spend on parts and getting it to run right. it sat for 4+ years
