Belt & Pulley Games

I have a novi 1000 (2 belt). An underdrive crank, ac, alternator, power steering...bla bla bla.

I was thinking about completely eliminating the smog pump so i can go with a shorter belt. Right now i use a 90" belt. Wich, where i live none of the shops keep this in stock and it has to be ordered. I believe the belt is about $35.

If i can do this, i can save a little cash and some aggrivation.

Any suggestions or ideas?
