Blacked Out Windshield Chrome Trim On 68 Mustang Fastback

Does anyone knows how to obtain Blacked out chrome trim pieces for windshield, quarter window, and drip rail trim?

About all you can do is paint it ,only problem is it is made of stainless steel and not a lot will stick to it .I painted the trim for a 70 sport roof quite a few years ago and it lasted for a year or two then it started to peel ,i even sanded the trim . Not sure if powder coat would stick either but it may if you sand it first .

powder coat or plasti dip for a semi temporary color change. We have been ceramic coating trim for a while and it is pricey but holds up extremely well.

What about a roll of pin stripping that was wide enough to cover and maybe wrap under the edges?
