You ain't kidding... A guy (I say guy, he's 20) I know who lives about a mile away, drives an 99-04 body style Cobra sitting the same stance, on some 20 inch crazy rims w/ low pro's. The car looks almost like a gunmetal silver/bronze. It sounds like an honest to god wild animal when he gets in that ass. Anyways ... He never knew it but growing up that kid was my roll model. He has 3 BUILT cars ... 2 fox body 5.0's w/ SC's (one track and one now retired daily driver). Both are sidelined to his Cobra. I want to be more like that financially one day.
Where can I get lights like that?? Can I somehow tint them to look like that? Im sure that dark isnt legal but man it looks SWEET!
yeh you can do it yourself with VHT nite shade. it comes in a spray can. it can be found on summit racing website (like 20 bucks kus of shipping) or u can get it at some local stores. works very well and although it looks dark a lot of light is able to pass through. if somone sees my car at night they have no idea that the tail lights are black.
What is needed to do this? Does the spray tint go on the outside of the light or is there a way to take the lens off?
