What would be the better choice for displacement and/or stroke for a street driven centrifugal blower motor? I was thinking of a 351 based block and stroke to a 427 but I think I may have read somewhere that it would be best to go with a shorter rod length than 6.2

Or maybe stay with a 302 bsed block???

My intention was to get as many cubes n/a as possible (for lots of torque) and also not to have to run a ton of boost or spin the motor to the moon to get around 600 rwhp. This while using a hydraulic roller cam.

I would say getting 600 to the wheels on a 302 might be a strech. I think that kind of power could be obtainable with a 331 or 347 stroker, while staying at or under 6k.

302 based block....not just a 302. Obviously need some stroke to get the number

a 347 with a turbo can make 1000hp if you want to run on high boost. 600hp youll need a different block no matter what size motor to be safe but i believe a stock 351w block can hold 650hp. id do the 351w and run a turbo on it and youll hit 600rwhp really easy

but if you realy want to run a sc, id go with a bigger motor like a 408 if you want to keep boost down. my dyno tuner is making 650rwhp with a 331 and a vortech

I am planning on using a Dart block. How much boost is your tuner running and is he using a hyd. roller?
