Was shootin down Rt 80 on Friday the 15th in my White GT Vert in the POURING rain. I mean POURING! I was being cautious and then ZOOM! A Blue Mach 1 shoots by me easily going 80-85 in the torrential rain.

Was wondering if it was a stangnet'er :nice:

That's cuz Azure Blue is the fastest

Seriously though, I agree with Catman, that was pretty stupid to go that fast in a downpour (especially if it was on the stock crappy gatorbacks :nonono:)

Stock OEM tires that Ford puts on new Mach1 and GT's (prior to 05 model). Goodyear ZR Gatorbacks is I believe the correct title. They perform very poorly in the rain in my opinion.

Yeah I wasn't tryin to be on a soapbox or nuthin I was just sayin, I was out riding in my friends car in torential rain Saturday night as well, we were going like 50 and it was crazy, I couldn't imagine going 80 in my Mach though it does handle better then most people give it credit for as long as you keep the RPMs down. :nice:

P.S. - I was always told OW was the fastest.
