no point in cheering for him, hes going to suck like he did last year. Thinking this surgery is going to bring back the Brett of the Lambo days is nothing but blind faith.

I say he gonna to lose himself at least his first try at HOF. He may have to wait a couple of tries just because of his current antics.

I dont get why Minnesota wanted him so bad. Hes not a QB you can build your team around. He should be retired now but maybe has a 1-2 years left before he realizes hes washed up. They need to get someone like a chad Pennington who has some experience and years left to play instead of having to look for another QB in just a short amount of time.

I predict he does not play a full year due to injury or being benched

yea chad pennington thats a good one  the reason they want brett is simple really they have the TEAM to win a SB rite NOW but not with tavarus jackson running that team. they want brett to step in play 1 year hopefully win a SB and be done.

brett washed up? he may be old but can still pass the ball everyone said kurt warner was washed up till he made a SB run last year now everyone considers him a top qb again. remember brett had the JETS at the top of there division until he got the shoulder injury last year.

I never say the Steelers are going to beat anyone, and certainly not gonna win any Superbowl any particular year. I watch the game or see the score and that's it. Talk about how good or bad they did that week. Move on to next week. Since Tom Brady Christ is coming back I guess every team is just suppose to :hail2: and let them walk on water into the Superbowl.

Do you know where you are? The football thread, where smack talk ensues.

Oh, and we have a reason to be "cocky", we're (the Steelers) the best in history.

The patriots offence is nothing but down right nasty this year. There's only 11 guys on defence, pick your poison b/c no defence can cover all the weapons they have.

11-5 w/ out Brady last year, Nuff said.

The AFC is going to get a rude awaking starting in September.

Coupe is just pissed b/c Eli is a hack and hes going to suck more this year then he did last year.

Huge difference between Warner and Favre. Warner has gone to a Superbowl recently. Brett has not, and will not. He needs to step away now before he is remembered as a washed up has been
