Guess this thread belongs to CO next year... Definitely a good year/season, and I didn't see it playing out the way it did, but, wow. Great year of football, now just another 6 months till college/pro football starts back up! Ugh, I'm reading the next 6 months!

Were you offended to see that snake oil, used car dealer slobbering on stage with the SB trophy? That lowlife SOB wanted to move to San Antonio after Katrina and it took the NFL putting their foot down and telling him to wait it out and see how the region recovered. Then he gets up there like he was some kind of savior. I still remember him having to have security escort him at Tiger Stadium during the Dolphin game because he whined about wanting to move and made vile comments to fans as he left. Nope...don't like that little ****sucker at all.

Not a fan of the used car salesman... paid him no attention do you think this will stop him from moving the team? I doubt it. He'll still try. If nothing else, he'll use it as a way to leverage more money from the state/tax payers
He bought the property that used to house the marketplace right across from the Dome that has been vacant since Katrina...I forget the name...but he is leasing it back to the state as offices in the high rise. The lower floors are supposed to be some sort of sports oriented businesses. I think as long as the Dome stays sold out and he can blackmail the state for money every year he will hang around.
Yes...the high rise will be state offices and the rest where the mall used to be will be sports oriented.
Looks like I might be scoring some FREE preseason tickets to the Saints/Titan's game up here this year. Got a bud who is a Titan's season ticket holder. Can't wait to take my munchkins, even if it's preseason....
