Body Shop Headaches

Where was this bodyshop located, "Fantasyland"? Could you please give me the phone number of the bodyshop so I could negotiate a similar deal? I've got a Crossman BB pistol that will leave a nasty welt, do you think I could get your discount if I mentioned I were your close personal freind? Please post again soon, because I really enjoy good fiction!

Cobra Automotive in Connecticut did mine. http://www.cobraautomotive.com

Done quick, as promised and done right.

All they do is restore mustangs and fit them for racing. They have no room to keep the car sitting around (would not dream of leaving any car out overnight).

I've heard about these guys... Can you give us a clue what kind of work they needed to do to your car & about about how much it cost? Also, do they do regular mechanical work too, or just restorations? Thanks!

 Bodyshops are mostly Collison Repair.
A typical Shop will be doing Bookrates for repairs,
The newer cars are more to panel replacments or plastics.
So it's pretty cut and dry for costs.

Resto work Has to many unknowns, If they give a set price and it's more when
they start work and run across that Oh no Whats this?
Its eather more or short cut, including pushing a few other cars ahead
cause it's more labor$.

But I would not leave my car there without at least some timeline as to when the completion date would be, even if i said they get 2 months to do it.

Checking around for shops is a MUST.
Good one will be happy to let you look at thier work.
