Bought a new daily driver

I sold my old 1995 F150 a few weeks ago and I bought a 2009 F150 4x4 Crew Cab on Wednesday. With the Ford employee pricing and other discounts the dealers in my city we selling out of 2009's fast and my truck hasn't even arrived yet. On Wednesday they said my truck was in Kansas City and I thought it was in route but I see now on my paperwork that KC is the assembly point. Anyone have any ideas how long trucks typically sit before they ship out? The dealer says they think it will arrive in 1 or 2 weeks but they appear to be estimating at best.

Dude it may just be sitting in the lot awaiting pick up. I would prepare for a month and hope it got here sooner. BTW i really love the new F-series. I'll be looking to get me an FX4 here in the next dew months myself.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of. I wish Ford could just give me a delivery date. I haven't even driven one of the new F150's so I'm getting pretty excited to get my truck.
