On a pedestal style roller rocker, what is the name of the part that sits in the middle of the rocker arm that the mounting bolt goes through? I have discovered 2 cracked ones on my engine.

Trunion it is. Thanks for all of your replies. Sometimes the old memory just doesn't work right.

is the trunion the inside or the rocker that allows rotation or is it the peice that the rocker sits on between the head and the rocker (with a flat end on the head and a round end touching the rocker?
