Brembo not painting the hats of their 13" OEM rotors anymore??

Mine have unpainted hats

These are 99-04 OEM 13" rotors in Brembo boxes. Kinda odd how they dont come with that blue/gray primer in the center now.

These will rust up like crazy on the car right? I should prob slap a coat of black or maybe aluminum paint on the center portion where the pad won't sweep?

Can i get them zinc coated?

i guess you could take them someplace to get them zinc coated. i would just paint the hats myself. thats what im contemplating doing on my next set of rotors.

could u just use caliper paint? i dont see how anything will stay stuck to that surface to begin with lol, seems so smooth

Got mine from stangsuspension March 2006 and they are painted grey. Still grey and no rust after 5 months of south Florida rain and humidity. Better paint them with something!!

is Zinc Coating the bronzey look like on most sportbikes?

if not, i love that bronze look, and id paint that center part that bronzey color. or black or something, cause yeah, itll rust. and will look ****ty in open rims.

mine from buyfordracing were also unpainted, hit the hats with some high temp silver tho

Doubt it.

The box is red and says Brembo on it and the word BREMBO is actually cast into the edge of the rotor
