Broken Dip Stick

I went to check my oil level and pulled out the dip stick. Only 7 inches of it came out of the tube. The remaining portion that broke off is still stuck in the tube. Is there anyway to get it out without removing the tube assembly? Thanks in advance for your help.

It'll be pretty hard to get it out without removing the tube assembly. that tube comes out pretty easily. It's just bolted to the header, and pulls right out.

Thanks revhead347, I will go ahead and remove it since it should be easy. I didn't know how hard it may be to remove. Thanks again for the response.

By pulls right out, I mean you twist it back and forth, and use a lot of swear words. But I swear, it does come out.
