Ok, got home today and parked, pulled up brake handle and BAM! the button and spring are ejected from the handle, bouncing off of the windshield and landing in my lap. It appears that if there ever was any lip around the base of the button it has sheared, allowing it's escape. I have found replacement assemblies for $129 and $89 at LRS and CJ's respectively. My question is, has anyone had this problem and found a repair, or even parts so as the oem handle can be retained? If so, where were the parts attained, and basic repair procedure??
