I purchased the stock knock-off kit from Bob at BRS Parts. I liked his kit a whole lot better than the plastic Ford spinners and figured that the locking design would fit on my aftermarket wheels (OE Concepts) and keep them from falling off anytime soon.

The original kit received included 1/4-inch x 20 1-inch long bolts and spacers. These parts work well on Ford wheels but could not be used on my aftermarket wheels. I contacted Bob who recommended I pick up some 1/4-inch x 20 3/4-inch long bolts and 1/4-inch flat washers and use them instead.

Installation (along with pic's) follows:

1. Install lock ring on center cap.

2. Raised my car using my handy floor lift and removed a wheel.
3. Popped out the existing center cap.
4. Insert thrust washer into front of wheel opening.

5. Insert curved inside washer, bolt, and flat washer into inside of wheel.

6. Insert frame, center washer, and nylox nut.

7. Tighten nylox nut onto bolt (tighten till its secure and then an additional 1/2 turn). Assembly should NOT turn on wheel easily.

8. Install center cap into frame.

9. Thread knock-off (spinner) onto frame and tighten till secure.

10. Using supplied hex key (unless you're like me and misplace it :bang: ) tighten set screw in knock-off.

11. Test by turning knock-off. It should not move without a good amount of resistance.
12. Re-mount wheel on car
13. Remember to use a torque wrench and tighten your lug nuts down to factory specifications.
