Do you have gears and/or a cam? This is a pretty common "problem" with a lot of modified 5.0's. Shift down when it starts bucking, or if in 1st or 2nd get the revs up. It's really hard on u-joints when the car bucks like that.

How high does the car idle at?, Mine was idled right up to like 1500 and when i wqas in like 3rd gear and the rpm's would go lower than were the car idles it would buck and **** lol hope to help yea there cam too is a big thing thats why you hear alot of build 5.0 cruzin in 2nd gear at 30-40 mph lol

Dump the codes and see what the computer says is wrong…

Here's the link to dump the computer codes with only a jumper wire or paper clip and the check engine light, or test light or voltmeter. I’ve used it for years, and it works great.

Trouble codes are either 2 digit or 3 digit, there are no cars that use both 2 digit codes and 3 digit codes. Codes have different answers if the engine is running from the answers that it has when the engine isn't running. It helps a lot to know if you had the engine running when you ran the test.

distributor would be my guess , I chased a problem like this for 2 months , pull the distributor and check for play in the bushing and make sure it spins freely ......

This might seem like a stupid response, but maybe its your clutch? I know mine will buck because of the clutch if it gets to low in the rpm band.
