Building motor have some questions....

I will be putting together a motor soon and would like some input, I need to know what kind of push rods I will need and what what rocker arms, I am using a 74 block bored .60 over. set of 289 heads "small chambers" that have been fully ported/polished, 1.94/1.6 valves, 3angle job.., comp cam, 296/296 .530 lift, edelbrock 100 wet shot, ported edelbrock victor inake, demon carb, longtubes ec,t 3.73 gears.... My second quesiton is what kind of power can I see how of this? IM looking for low 12's high 11's

I assume it's a 302???? Buy some adjustable pushrods and see what length you will need, every combo is different with cam lobes, heads , rockers, springs, etc. Can't go wrong with Comp Cams or Crane. Trick Flow makes some nice ones but are expensive ($85). No guess on your HP, don't know much about 289 heads. Probably should be close to 400 on the juice.
 
wow this is an old thread but i too am swapping my new .060 over internals from a 90 block into a better 69 302 block that is already bored to .060. i will be putting a 268 high energy cam in maybe and some 67 289 heads on it. i need to know if i can use some stock non roller pushrods from a 90 truck or 76 mustang II or do i have to get some 289 pushrods.
