I'm doing an automatic to T5 conversion. I have yet to install the clutch pedal. Would it be easier to install the cable bracket mechanism on the clutch pedal now or should I install it after I put the clutch pedal in?

It's always easier when you can set the part on a bench to work on it.
Not a lot of fun turned upside down under the dash.
