Asking because I have never done it, can you change the cam in fox mustang with the engine in the car?

Yes, got to remove everything in front of the engine, but sure.

Yes, you can. Place a towel on passenger side fender for ac compressor. Be very careful when you unbolt it. The lines going into the compressor will swivel if you do it carefully and allow you to set the compressor on the passengers side fender well.

The radiator will have to come out, and you will most likely have to loosen the oil pan and let it partially fall. I have done this without taking the bolts out all the way.

Thanks. For my entire life I have heard of people swapping cams in the car.

So I tried it last year, and of all things, you have to remove the grille from my 66 Chevelle to swap the cam. Who knew!
