Cam gear help

i dont really see where this should be cluttering up tech but i have a question.

I have a msd dizzy with a hardened steel gear for a roller cam will it work with a hydraulic flat tappet cam or am i gonna have to swap the gears?

I believe the gear will still work, but I could be wrong on that.

on another note. I still have your stuff. I have been busy moving so we'll have to meet up once I get settled in.
