The E303 will drop right in, it would be great to check your valve spring pressures if you have a lot of miles though. The gains on a stock motor will be very, very minimal if anything, swapping a cam right now isnt truly needed.

The E303 will drop right in however if you are going in there, it may be a good time to replace your pushrods/lifters/timing chain. Also, I do feel like I should throw it out there that unless your main goal is the lopey idle, that there are many other mods that will make the same if not more power on a stock motor than a cam for a lot less time wrenching.
would he also have to do a mass air conversion? considering the e cam will have less vacume to run the stock speed density computer. I have an 87 gt and been told not to put a cam in untill conversion has been done
