does anyone have any pics of a twin supercharger kit on a carb in a 67 mustang. is there really an advantage because i think it would look cool as hell. you should be able to modify the upper part of the carb box from one inlet tube to two (one on each side
call paxton and order a driver side kit and a passenger side kit. http://www.paxtonauto.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=154&cat=505
I have used the Twin 'VR4-SN' kit many times and it does look wicked and it was designed for the early Mustangs and the Shelby Cobra.
Yes, twin superchargers have been done. Here's a link to a site that has pics of an interesting install... http://www.obsidiansg1.com
I've thought about doing this before, but you need to think about the throttle linkage...tricky tricky
What does dual supercharging have to do with the throttle cable? You don't move anything with the carb or the throttle body you just 'Y' them together or if like mine I used dual Carbs and use a simple linkage kit.
if you splice the 2 carb housings together, or did i not look closely enough at paxtons picture? oh wait. stoooopid
Sorry but that is one UGLY Mustang. That looks more like a 66 Corvette with the back of a Mustang bonded to it.
