I have had my car for sale for the past 2 months, with only 1 call! I know the economy is scary, but does anyone have any suggestions on where to list my car to sell it. I have tried ebay a couple of times, performance autosport, autotrader, deals on wheels, but no bites. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, I put it on craigslist in Los Angeles a while ago, I will relist, and relist throughout the country. Thanks for the suggestion.

Is there a Saleen owners website you can list it on, or is there a Saleen dealer who sells them on consignment? I thought one of the Saleen parts web sites had a place to sell Saleens, if I find it I'll post it here.

Mrvids, thanks for the replies, I have already listed it on performance autosports site. I am sending them some new pictures and reducing my price. It is also listed on the soec.org website, which is the saleen owners enthusiasts clubs website. But thanks for the help.

The market is tough, there is over 60 05+ saleens on ebay right now.
IMO, only way to sell it, is to sell at a price nobody can match.

If yours is the one on PA with the 5 stars, i'd also make sure that the pics of the car with those rims is the first that everyone sees, they are much better looking and about a 2500-3000 upgrade.

2000XP8, thanks for the reply, yes mine is the 06 windveil blue with the 5 star forged saleen rims. I am seding in new pictures to Mark at PAS, and he said he will repost it first. However, I will not just let it go for a ridiculously low price. I would rather keep it, as it will be paid in about a 11/2 years. Thanks.

    try saleenclubofamerica.com

However, like someone else said, unless you are selling for a REALLY good price, you may be SOL. You can pick up an NA 06-07 Saleen on Ebay with less than 2500 miles for under $30k - I saw one on Friday for $23k!!. SC models are going for mid 30s. Extremes...mid/low 40s

Allcarfan, thanks, I will try them. I am asking in the mid 30's and mine is supercharged. I think with the economy, and not being able to get loans for cars very easily, its going to take a while.

You have a great looking car, but as others have mentioned it is a tough market right now. I sold my '04 through Mark at PAS with great results...sold for more than I was asking!

Give it some time, the right new owner will come around...good luck! :nice:

Rob, thanks, I have it listed with Mark at PAS. Not much more I can do, but hope a good buyer finds me.

The thread has been moved to the S/W classifieds section. I realize you main intent here isn’t to create a sales thread in a talk section, but since it does seem to be leading in that direction, my choices are to move it, or close it.

Either way, you’ve been given a lot of great options here and unfortunately the way the current economy is, “ridiculously” lowering your price seems to be your only option for moving your car at this point. I don’t think it’s a matter of it not being seen, it’s more a case that nobody’s buying. You’ll either have to let it go for a song, or tough it out until North America pulls out of this nose dive I’m afraid. :(

Brian, no problem, understand, and I do agree with you, my car is in alot of publications and websites, but due to economy, credit crunch, dealers giving 0% long term financing, and thousands of dollars off new saleens, it is going to take forever to sell. Then again, it just takes one interested party!
