Can I cut my exhaust pipe off before it shows under bumper?

    Just want to cut it off so it dumps before it comes out from underneath the rear bumper, just for cosmetic "cleaning it up" purposes.

    Would I just need to chop off a section and have a small downward-facing curve popped/welded on?

    maybe go get a turn down tip so that exhaust is directed down
