I'm currently looking for a black GT 5spd and would like to get it as close to invoice as possible. Can someone recommend a dealer in the DFW area?

    Thanks

bankston ford frisco, right now they are beating other dealer's adds in the paper. So if you find a good add bring it in here with you.

The internet folks at Troy Aikman Ford was willing to match invoice and add a car cover for a GT/CS convertible. I went with a local dealer in Tyler since they matched the same. I ordered yesterday and hope to have it in 6-8 weeks.

Sykora Family Ford in West (1.25 hr south of DFW)

My family has bought seven cars from Sykora Family Ford over the past 25 years. Never had a single problem with the dealership. They come through on their word, and are willing to go the extra mile.

They do deal, but, if you are looking for the absolute bottom dollar deal, this probably isn't the place for you, because they are not the "let me gotalk to my manager" kind of place. I figure spending a couple hundredmore at Sykora is worth it because I know that (A) I will never have to worry about getting screwed when it comes to getting any problem fixed and (B) I am getting a fair price. If it costs me five extra bucks a month on a car payment, it is more than worth the expense, especially on a car like the Mustang.

As an example of what kind of dealership they are, these guys sold a Ford GT to my boss at MSRP, when virtually everybody else was selling with "adjustments" on the car's price due to demand. Really good people, and a truly family run business.
